This month, I invite you to join me in celebrating our extraordinary students and the remarkable things they do here on campus and around the world. When I have a particularly challenging day, all I need to do is remind myself of our students…their passion, hard work, ingenuity, and integrity. Like Adam and Kasra, who created a program for students to dedicate part of their paycheck to KidSpirit; and Ruth, a well-known advocate for women in Malawi here doing graduate work in public health; and Heather who has had “a ha” moments volunteering health clinics in India and working with Becca, her IMPACT buddy with Down syndrome.
Today, as I came into the Women’s Building, a group of our HHS Ambassadors and student club leaders were setting up for their annual internship fair to connect students with businesses and organizations for internship opportunities.
I am thankful for the daily reminders of our student’s hard work, proud of their many accomplishments, and confident that they are continuing the OSU legacy of seeking knowledge, learning compassion and building a bright future for our world!
