Last June, we launched Synergies, our online news site for alumni and friends of the College of Health and Human Sciences. We invited alumni and friends to join our site. Many did and they have been receiving our monthly updates – features on research, inspirational stories about faculty and students, alumni news, and health tips. Now, we’re sending Synergies to all of our alumni and friends (if we have your email address) each month so you can decide for yourself. You can read any one or more of the monthly updates, browse through past stories, and search for subjects that interest you.
This month, you can learn about cutting edge research by Rick Settersten on transitions to adulthood and Megan McClelland’s internationally recognized research on school readiness. You will also learn about a unique student project to identify gluten-free eating options on and off campus and in the Corvallis community.
I hope you’ll be inspired to post your comments and questions about the exciting work going on in our college!Tammy Bray Dean .
