Kinesiology program awarded five-year grant

The kinesiology program has been awarded a five-year interdisciplinary training grant, “Interdisciplinary preparation in adapted physical education and special education.”

The kinesiology program has been awarded a fiveyear interdisciplinary training grant, “Interdisciplinary preparation in adapted physical education and special education” from the United States Department of Education Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services. Megan MacDonald is the principal investigator and Heidi Wegis is the co-investigator. This joint training grant with Western Oregon University (WOU; Maria Peterson-Ahmad and Katrina Hovey) will fund some master’s degree students in adapted physical education at OSU and also some MS. Ed. special education students at WOU.
