Faculty, students and alumni recognized at national health policy conference

Three HMP faculty, five health policy PhD students and three health policy alumni will present their current research at the AcademyHealth Conference in Washington, D.C. in June. This conference is the nation’s leading annual health policy research conference. Among others, Linh Bui’s work titled “Oregon’s coordinated care organizations and mortality within the first two years after birth among low-income children” will be featured as one of the major papers that received the highest peer-review scores.

In 2017, work led by Aurora VanGuarde (2018 health policy graduate) received the same recognition by the conference’s scientific committee. The college’s AcademyHealth OSU Student Chapter has been recognized by AcademyHealth since 2013.
