In light of the growing number of cases and the ongoing investigation to determine the cause, the Oregon Health Authority is warning all Oregonians not to use vaping products or e-cigarettes.
The Oregon Health Authority reported a second death in Oregon; this patient was previously included in the most recent case total for Oregon, which remains at five cases.
Nationwide, the CDC reported as of Sept. 27 more than 800 cases, primarily among youth and young adults, and 12 deaths. Oregon’s latest death would bring that count to 13.
