Video: Accreditation, collaborations key to improving public’s health

Throughout the long journey of accreditation, the CPHHS has had the continued support of university leadership, alumni, donors, and community and industry partners.

As Oregon’s only accredited college of public health and human sciences, we educate the next generation of globally minded public health and human sciences professionals, research and learn new ways to ensure health across the lifespan and bring that knowledge to our partnership with the public to ensure our vision of lifelong health and well-being for every person, every family and every community in Oregon and beyond.

Accreditation recognizes that our work is of the highest quality and literally puts us on the map and in good company with the nation’s 50-plus accredited colleges of public health.

This designation elevates our visibility and stature; adds credibility, prestige and value to our degrees; increases our ability to attract and retain committed students and world-class faculty; allows us to support a qualified workforce; and helps us secure the resources necessary to realize our vision.
