The times are tough, but these grads are tougher

See how the College of Public Health and Human Sciences is celebrating the Class of 2021 this spring.

The College of Public Health and Human Sciences will recognize more than 650 undergraduate students and 92 graduate students at Oregon State University’s 152nd commencement ceremony, held virtually on Saturday, June 12, in Corvallis, and Sunday, June 13, at OSU-Cascades. 

The college is hosting separate, additional virtual events for its graduates and celebrating them online. Read more and watch videos of our graduating students on the college website

Jafra D. Thomas, PhD, will provide remarks at the CPHHS undergraduate celebration, held from 1-2 p.m. Friday, June 11. Jafra is an alumnus of the college (MPH and PhD) and the 2021 recipient of the Hally Poindexter Young Scholar Award from the National Association for Kinesiology in Higher Education. 

John Dunn, former president of Western Michigan University, is the keynote speaker for the CPHHS graduate celebration, held from 3-5 p.m. Friday, June 11. From 1975 to 1995, John was faculty and later chair of Health and Human Performance at OSU and founder of the IMPACT program.
