Congratulations to Stephanie Grutzmacher, assistant professor of nutrition and global health (School of Biological and Population Health Sciences), who has been awarded a new grant from the USDA Economic Research Service (through University of Kentucky Center for Poverty Research) to examine food hardship and SNAP utilization among older adults in Oregon.
This is multidisciplinary collaboration with faculty from other programs in the college and across campus, including Mark Edwards (CLA-Sociology), who is a co-PI, as well as David Rothwell and Carolyn Mendez-Luck (School of Social and Behavioral Health Sciences) and Dusti Linnell (Family and Community Health Extension).
