Growing up I knew I wanted to be in the health care field and I also knew I did not want to be a clinician. I started my time at OSU in the Business School and then switched to Public Health my junior year. I chose to focus on health care administration – a perfect area for me as I got to use both my business skills and public health skills.

Maria Kosma ’04: Promoting physical activity for health and wellness

Maria has enjoyed a multicultural and interdisciplinary education and work experience. After finishing her baccalaureate degree in her native country of Greece and her Master’s in the European degree program, (with long-term study in both Belgium and Finland), Maria completed her PhD in nutrition and exercise science, specializing in movement studies in disability and exercise psychology.
