Clinical Associate Professor Sam Johnson and Associate Professor Marc Norcross recently presented three scientific abstracts at Safety 2018: The 13th World Conference on Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion held in Bangkok, Thailand, from November 5-7. The conference was hosted by Thailand’s Ministry of Public Health and was co-hosted by the World Health Organization, the National Institute for Emergency Medicine and the Thai Health Promotion Foundation. Safety 2018 brought together more than 1,000 participants including researchers, practitioners, advocates and policymakers in the field of injury prevention and safety promotion from more than 90 countries. The abstracts have been published in a November supplemental issue of the journal Injury Prevention.
