The 20-year partnership between the CPHHS Better Bones and Balance program and Linn Benton Community College’s Benton Center and Extended Learning Program was honored at OSU’s Annual Outreach and Engagement Cooperator Awards Banquet on Wednesday, December 5. The Benton Center was the first site to adopt BBB following the study that found the program was effective at reducing fall risk among older adults. It has hosted the annual instructor training since 2006 serving hundreds of instructors and thousands of participants.
