Oregon State is accelerating its local outreach to improve confidence in COVID-19 vaccines in the state’s Latinx population, which has been disproportionately affected by the pandemic and whose vaccination rate lags behind other races and ethnicities.
Instead of looking at the reasons child welfare caseworkers leave their jobs, OSU researchers examined the common factors among workers who stay in the field, and what makes them feel most satisfied in their work.

Commencement 2021: Ellie Slama
Ellie Slama will receive her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Oregon State University on June 12. During her time in the College of Public Health and Human Sciences, Ellie played on the Oregon State women’s golf team.
