Graduate student selected as public health ambassador

Karina Goicochea, a first-year MPH student, has been selected by the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health (ASPPH).

Karina Goicochea, a first-year MPH student, has been selected by the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health (ASPPH) as one of 35 new members for the 2018-2019 cohort of the “This is Public Health Ambassadors” program. This cohort includes students from 23 ASPPH member institutions. These ambassadors participate in a series of public health outreach events and professional development activities. Karina is also a 2017 alumna with a bachelor’s degree in Public Health/Health Promotion Health Behavior and works as an EFNEP/SNAP-Ed educational program assistant for Benton County Extension. ASPPH, the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health, is a membership organization of CEPH-accredited schools and programs of public health and for those in applicant status.
