Since August 2020, a talented team of students in OSU’s Center for Health Innovation have provided “surge” support to local public health departments in response to COVID-19.
After an outbreak of COVID-19 in Lincoln County hit Latino communities especially hard, it brought awareness to their disproportionate access to health resources, information and other community services. OSU Extension faculty jumped in to help.
For OSU students, the study provides hands-on experience and the potential to make a local and global impact.
