“My research focuses on interactions between adults and children and how those interactions support children’s behavior and emotion regulation as well as activity in the stress response system,” CPHHS Assistant Professor Bridget Hatfield says.
Oregon State University’s College of Public Health and Human Sciences has been granted accreditation, making it the first school of public health in Oregon to earn that recognition.

Katherine Smith, a 1961 alumna from the college’s early days as a College of Home Economics, met with students and faculty at the Hallie E. Ford Center for Healthy Children and Families in December to share her story and offer sage advice on navigating college and career life.
