“My research focuses on interactions between adults and children and how those interactions support children’s behavior and emotion regulation as well as activity in the stress response system,” CPHHS Assistant Professor Bridget Hatfield says.

“I am looking at how new and emerging tobacco products are impacting African American youth and young adults. I want to know what they know about these products, how they learned about these products, how they feel about these products and what kinds of marketing are being used by tobacco companies to reach this population,” Kari-Lyn says.
“Our overall plan is to develop strategies to combat NAFLD using our preclinical approach in mice. If successful, these studies will set the stage for future human clinical trials,” Donald says.
“I hope that my research will contribute to decreasing osteoporosis and reducing fracture risk, especially in aging individuals,” Urszula says.
“Learning is a lifelong process. One day you think you’ve mastered something, but the next day you realize you’ve only scratched the surface. Actively seek out opportunities to learn and celebrate the diversity of knowledge that surrounds you,” John says.
“I’m very interested in what we eat and how food has an impact in terms of healthy lifestyles and letting us live better,” says CPHHS Moore Family Center Director Emily Ho.
